Their installation, use, and maintenance are also areas that everyone needs to pay attention to.     When installing a residential ultrasonic water meter, consideration should be given to the direction of water flow, installation location, and pipeline conditions, as follows:

    1、 The applicable model of an ultrasonic water meter is determined by the system flow rate rather than the system pipe diameter. The diameter and model of the water meter should be determined based on the commonly used flow rate.

    2、 According to the requirements of household metering design, a filter must be installed in front of the inlet of the residential smart water meter. And the filter must be regularly cleaned and maintained. It is best to clean the installed pipeline before construction to avoid malfunctions.

    3、 The installation direction of the ultrasonic water meter must be horizontal or vertical. And the arrow direction of the water meter identification (including the filter) must be consistent with the direction of the pipeline water flow. Do not allow water to flow back to prevent impurities from damaging the water meter. When installing vertically, the direction of water flow must be upward.

    4、 Although this ultrasonic water meter is waterproof ultrasonic water meter, but in order to extend the service life of ultrasonic water meters, the installation site should try to avoid exposure to sunlight and flooding, providing convenience for future meter reading or disassembly.

    5、 Selection of installation environment for ultrasonic water meters: Install in a place that is convenient for disassembly and maintenance. The installation site should not undergo severe vibration, and the environmental temperature should not change significantly. Try to stay away from equipment with strong electromagnetic fields such as large motors and transformers.

    6、 After the ultrasonic water meter is installed and used, the operation condition of the flowmeter and the battery voltage should be checked regularly.

The installation method is as follows:

    1. Choose the installation location: The ultrasonic water meter should be installed on the straight section of the water pipeline, at a distance of 20 times the pipeline diameter from equipment such as water pumps or valves, and ensure that the water meter is installed horizontally.

    2. Preparation tools: The tools required for installing ultrasonic water meters include water meters, wrenches, pipe cutters, sealants, screwdrivers, etc.

    3. Cutting pipeline: Use a pipeline cutter to cut the water pipe into the required length, paying attention to the flatness of the cut.

    4. Installation of the water meter: Place the ultrasonic water meter into the pipeline and tighten the screws with a wrench to firmly fix the water meter on the pipeline.

    5. Connect the pipeline: Insert the pipeline connector into both ends of the water meter and tighten the connector with a wrench to ensure that the connector is sealed with the water meter without leakage.

    6. Sealing the pipeline: Use sealant to seal the pipeline connection to ensure that there is no water leakage around the water meter.

    7. Check the water meter: after installation, open the water source to check whether the water meter works normally.
